Background:
Transaction banking (TB) revenue for Russia has very aggressive growth targets for 2007. The Product PFC for TB Russia for 2007 is at 36 Mln Euro's of Client Revenues, which represents a 15% growth year or year. To support this growth TB Russia requires increasing its sales team and aligning more salespersons against both the top local commercial names, inbound commercial MNC clients and the targeted "Middle Market Sweet spot" names
Russia Trade business is growing at almost 50% annually and we anticipate that we will finish yes 2007 well above the PFC number of 5Mln Euros. To support this growth and penetrate the market more, we are requesting the addition of one FTE focused on Trade Sales within the Local market. We expect to grow the Trade Revenues to 10Mln Euros' by 2009.
Job Description:
The Role will entail:
- Managing leads from Network Relationship Banker's and TB sales from Inbound Markets
- Leveraging existing relationships with Clients overseas to target their local/regional business in Russia
- Cross selling to existing client base as new products are introduced by TB locally (Trade Finance, Guarantees)
- Growing the Trade Revenue base of Inbound business by a minimum of 100% annually between 2007-2009
The individual will ideally demonstrate the following:
- Proven track record in commercial banking or financial sales
- Strong relationship and lead management skills
- The desire and ability to deliver high quality results and work in a highly competitive and networked marketplace
- Understanding of working with solution teams (aligning with Product managers from TB and Global Markets to position solutions)
- Experience of working with Middle market names would be helpful
- A high proficiency level of English language as most of the names will have non Russian stakeholders
- A sales background in Transaction banking would be very beneficial (but not a necessity)
